"So I've been washing records for days, when I got my Old Old Skool tunes out of my storage space they were very dirty indeed. This set has a really special place in my heart, Kemistry and I collected all these tunes together and never got the chance to play them out together, so I will be playing this set for both of us."

Producer, DJ & MC Mark System is most often associated with Shy FX's Digital Soundboy imprint however he's recently been working on some new house material under the moniker Lazune. As expected production quality is high & he's picked up some Radio1 airplay on debut track Feel it.

We continue our new Mix Series with Genre & Metalheadz resident plus Rinse FM presenter DJ Flight. Having dropped a great Reggae selection at our 4th birthday last year she was kind enough to go back in & record this exclusive mix for us!

"I picked a selection of my favourite artists and producers on a Dub/Roots tip, including Horace Andy, Barry Brown, Johnny Clarke, Bunny Lee, King Tubby, Sly & Robbie etc. The music in this mix comes from (arguably) one of the most creative periods in Reggae history: the 1970s/ very early 1980s."
